sleepless weekend

The last weekend was sleepless. We, me and Martin, went on the JAM-LAN at the café JAM, nearby the Ulmer Münster.

After 36 hours of gaming, much fun and without sleep, we got home at 6 a.m. on sunday morning.
Martin reached the third place in the trackmania nations tournament and me and my neighbour reached the third too in the UT2k4 2on2 tournament.
My neighbour with the nick “Ulf” reached the first place in the tmn tournament, what a nice game. :)

Sunday I’ve slept less than I have expected, because my cohabitant Julia wanted to watch some films like Serenity and Chicken Little. As an addition to the funny movies we drunk 2 bottles of Met, ouh damn. I went to bed something around 3 a.m. in the morning…
Monday evening we made another movie session, again not very much sleep. Then on Tuesday our little pub opened for another 6 hours from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the morning.

I think everyone can imagine how sleepy I am today… *yaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwnn*

No, I won’t post every significant increase, but I thought this number is again a nice mark, which has been broken.
The next mark lies far ahead: 1024, and I hope that much time has to last before we reach this number…

The concert and the true journey

The arrival at the LKA was just funny, driving with the train then with the subway to the Hedelfingerstr. was just as mentioned before.
Then 10 minutes of going by foot, and the LKA was in front of us, with a big crowd of people on the entry. I think after 20 or 25 minutes we got in and after giving our coats and jackets to the wardrobe we rushed into the crowd.

We watched Tyr from the right side of the hall, and we decided that this band has something to learn about playing in front of a big audience. The music was good, but the vocalist was just boring…
Just as Tyr reached the end of their list of songs, we tried to get into the middle of the audience, to consume the great show of Wintersun. And they lived up to their promise, they played the people to ecstasy. Great great band! :)
During Wintersun I got to know Lily, a nice and beautiful girl from the university of Karlsruhe. We were dancing together and with my friends Martin and Johannes through the whole rest of the concert. And now we are at Amon Amarth, the great viking band from Sweden… AAHH HELL, there is no equivalent on this earth!
You have to see them yourself to know how it is! :D

After the concert we went with Lily and her brother to their home, Flehingen, because we just did not want to sleep somewhere in Stuttgart, so it was Johannes’s idea to ask the two to get with them. Yes and then we were at their home and enjoyed a funny nighttalking until something around 4 a.m. in the morning.

In the end, it was a VERY nice concert, and we met two VERY nice people, so I have to thank the groups playing in the LKA and of course Lily and her brother Andy for taking us with them! :D

I LOVE AMON AMARTH, with their great viking metal, and Lily.

After a short night without much sleep we got home with the DB (deutsche Bahn) at 9 a.m. and with some late trains we arrived at 1 p.m. at Ulm. So this wonderful concert and the nice journey, which took longer than we expected, came to an end.
